The college financial representatives interns at Northwestern Mutual – King of Prussia are provided guidance, connection, and a framework for building an integrated financial planning practice from the ground up. Our college financial representatives, who come from varying academic backgrounds and experiences, have the unique opportunity to build a financial planning practice while engaging local and nationwide experts, selling exclusive financial products, and having the support of a Fortune 500 company. 

Role and Responsibilities:

The sales and supply chain interns use every interaction to shape customer relationships and drive business success. From developing new partnerships to growing existing ones in your book of business, you’ll unleash your potential by communicating the value of our inventory management solutions using a consultative sales approach. The positions are available at the West Chester, PA location that offers a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding and training.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
  • Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach
  • Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
  • Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs

Rothwell Sales and Service Internship

As a sales and service intern, you are responsible for creating compelling solutions tailored to customers’ business and technology needs. You will call on an assigned list of business accounts with the primary objective of generating net new business by securing adoption of products, services and solutions in order to expand industry penetration and footprint, thereby growing overall market share.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule client introductions and meetings
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and bid specifications to obtain new business
  • Propose optimized customer solutions that integrate front-end solutions, connectivity and hardware
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospecting and account activities

Apogee Insurance College Student Program

The interns primarily provide crucial support to our administration team, account management team, marketing team, and sales team. The interns are immersed in Apogee’s culture and develop both their professional and personal knowledge. This position will include the opportunity for professional development, insurance education, networking, and introduction to a variety of different career paths for future advancement.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process daily quotes
  • Develop and deliver insurance proposals to customers
  • Process and deliver insurance binders and invoices to customers and subsequent prior-to-binding items
  • Assist with state surplus lines reporting
  • Additional responsibilities in account management, sales, and marketing

Cintas Sales Internship

The internship program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge across all areas of our business, as well as the professional services industry. The goal is to expose the interns to our different departments. The sales internship combines hands-on training with the opportunity to interact with multiple departments in order to develop stronger leadership, organization, communication and time management skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, and other methods to identify new business opportunities

  • Schedule sales meetings with prospective clients based on qualified leads

  • Accompany sales representatives on site visits to existing and potential customers to understand their needs and present Cintas solutions

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of product lines, including features, benefits, and pricing

Mondelez Merchandising Sales Internship and Co-op

The merchandising sales interns fulfill the merchandising needs of customers through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays. use every interaction to shape customer relationships and drive business success. The positions are available in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out in-store visits 
  • Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service

  • Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays
  • Ensure brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained 
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches

Enterprise Sales Management Trainee Internship

Enterprise Mobility will help you build valuable sales and leadership skills. The real-world professional experience you’ll receive during the internship will help you learn what it takes to run a successful business and acquire highly marketable skills in sales management. It gives you the chance to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Learn about fleet management solutions and shadow experienced sales managers

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing their concerns

  • Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients highlighting the benefits of Enterprise Mobility services

  • Conduct assessments of client requirements to tailor solutions that meet their specific transportation needs
